Christmas Wishes From President & Mrs. Obama

: Hello everyone, and Merry Christmas. As you and your families gather to celebrate the holidays, we wanted to take a moment to send greetings from our family—from me, from Michelle, from Malia and Sasha—and from Bo.

FIRST LADY: This is our first Christmas in the White House, and we are so grateful for this extraordinary experience. Not far from here, in the Blue Room, is the official White House Christmas Tree. Its an 18-foot tall Douglas-fir from West Virginia and its decorated with hundreds of ornaments designed by people and children from all over the country. Each one is a reminder of the traditions we cherish as Americans and the blessings were thankful for this holiday season.

PRESIDENT: Thats right, especially as we continue to recover from an extraordinary recession that still has so many Americans hurting: parents without a job who struggled to put presents under the Christmas tree; families and neighbors whove seen their home foreclosed; folks wondering what the new year will bring.

JYP Entertainment held their first ever 2009 JYP Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Wonder Girls, on December 23rd, 2009 at the JYP Manhattan Center in New York City!

Although it was freezing out, fans showed up as early as 4:00pm to show their love and support for the Wonder Girls. Everyone was absolutely amazed and overwhelmed by the turnout, with lines wrapping all the way around the corner - I believe there was over 1000 fans who came out to celebrate an early Christmas with the girls.

The event was a huge success and instead of choosing only 5 winners to decorate, JYP Entertainment staff along with the Wonder Girls allowed hundreds of fans to come in and take a photo with the girls. All photos will be posted up on the Wonder Girls' official website, so make sure to look for your photo over at www.wondergirlsworld.com!

We wrapped up the intimate night with a holiday greeting from the Wonder Girls and gave them some gifts, so make sure to check out all of the photos and video below! I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at allkpop!

Special thanks to Hana, Woojae, Dave and the rest of the JYP Entertainment fam, and of course, the Wonder Girls.

Amerie and Fabolous are trying to save their broken relationship as narrated in the 'More Than Love' music video.

After going through a hectic schedule, Amerie, as seen in a music video for "More Than Love", finally has a night for herself and Fabolous, her collaborator who plays her lover. But things do not go as she plans as he leaves abruptly, which then raises her curiosity. "I'm not sure I trust him with my heart anymore," she said. "Gonna take more than love to make this work."

"More Than Love" is one of the singles from Amerie's fourth studio album entitled "In Love & War" which has been in stores since November. Its accompanying music video is directed by Taj and filmed in New York City.

In addition to teaming up with Fabolous, Amerie also joins forces with Trey Songz in a song called Pretty Brown and hooks up with rap mogul Lil Wayne in the remix version of the album's lead single "Heard Em All".

The cable network gives a preview of what's in stores in 2010, including also its line-up of original series such as 'Broadwalk Empire' that comes from award-winning Martin Scorsese.

HBO has just released its annual yearender that teases also what's coming in 2010. "2009 was a big year for HBO, but 2010 will be just as big," the cable said in the promo. Among the returning shows that get the first look is "True Blood" and among the new shows is miniseries "The Pacific".

Unfortunately, the promo that utilizes the song "This Could Be the Year" by Ryan Star, only displays a few second of Bill-Sookie moment as well as a brief glimpse of Sam and Jessica with her fangs out. It is doubtful that any of the scene is new since production has just been kicked off this month and it's unlikely that the footage come out of it. The contrary happens to "Pacific" that gets a new footage of wedding and war scenes.

"True Blood", entering its third year, will be premiered in June while "The Pacific" that has ten episodes will be premiered on March 14. Other shows which are expected to come back during the summer are "Eastbound & Down", "Entourage", "Bored to Death" and "Hung". Meanwhile, the TV films that follow the success of "Grey Gardens" are "Temple Grandin", "The Special Relationship" and "You Don't Know Jack".

New series that will be introduced next year are drama "Treme", comedy "How to Make It in America", and another drama "Broadwalk Empire".

HBO is the network that gets the biggest number of nominations at 2010 Golden Globe Awards. Pocketing 17 nods in total, HBO has the chance to win through Anna Paquin, "Taking Chance" and Bill Paxton among others.

Commotion: Pope Benedict XVI is helped to his seat moments after a woman jumped barriers and knocked the pontiff down

The Pope has been knocked to the ground tonight during Midnight Mass at St Peter's Basilica by the same woman who jumped the barriers last year, according to reports.

Pope Benedict XVI was walking down the aisle to begin the traditional Christmas Eve service when the woman made her move.

The pontiff's security guards rushed forward to help him back to his feet.

The Rev Ciro Benedettini said the Pope quickly got up off the marble floor, aided by the Master of Ceremonies, and was unhurt.

Slow motion television footage showed a plastic chair flying into the air as bodyguards rushed to the scene.

Pope Benedict, 82, calmly resumed his walk to the basilica's main altar and began the Mass to applause from worshippers.

Rev Benedettini said the woman who pushed the Pope appeared to be mentally unstable and had been arrested by Vatican police.

He said she also knocked down Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, 87, who was taken to hospital after suffering a broken leg as a result of the attack.

Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said the woman was the same person who tried to jump a barricade to get close to the Pope at last year's Christmas Mass - but was quickly blocked on the ground by security (scroll down to see video of last year's attempted attack).
