Do not disturb the animals: Authorities threaten to raid Russell Brand and Katy Perry's wedding if things get too raucous

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Safari time: Brand joins wedding guests including David Baddiel (far right) on a safari in Ranthambhore National Park in Rajasthan, India yesterday

But things have already taken a turn for the worst as Brand's entourage 'assault and punch' photographers while on safari

A bodyguard of the comedian's and another man in the party have been questioned by police over the incident

Armed officers will shut down celebrations if animals in the Ranthambore National Park are disturbed

Russell Brand's Indian jungle wedding to Katy Perry will be raided by police if 'things get out of hand', as authorities attempt to stop the festivities scaring tigers.

Armed officers say they will also close down the three-day nuptials, due to begin today, if there is any raucous behaviour, fireworks or if music goes on beyond 10pm.

Rapper P Diddy is expected to perform to the 85 guests at the event being held at the £600-a-night resort at the Ranthambore National Park, a famous tiger reserve which is also home to leopards, wild boars, hyenas and sloth bears.

Expansive: The tented area on the edge of the park where Katy, Russell and their guest's are staying for a week-long celebration - but authorities have threatened to close celebrations down if things get out of hand

Jonathan Ross, R&B singer Rihanna and Little Britain star David Walliams are among guests at the wedding, which will also include elephants, dancers and snake charmers.
But Sawaimadhopur district police chief Vishnu Kant said: 'We cannot allow anything to disturb the wildlife.

'We will be very vigilant and take strict action if that becomes necessary. We will not hesitate to stop the wedding if the laws are not obeyed. We would not allow playing of musical instruments and blaring loudspeakers after 10pm and things must not get out of hand before then.

Territorial: A tiger strolls around in the park, but armed officers are ready to pounce if the park's animals are disturbed by any loud music or fireworks at the event

'It is very important that the tigers and other animals do not get frightened by loud noises.'

Yesterday Brand was spotted with a henna tattoo painted on his hand before going on safari.

While it is the custom for the bride to sport the temporary ink on her hands and fingers, it is more than a little unusual for the groom to do so.

However, Brand looked thrilled with the intricate design painted on his right hand as he joined wedding guests including David Baddiel and his girlfriend Morwenna Banks on a safari to the Ranthambhore National Park in Rajasthan, India.

A woman believed to be Katy was also seen on a separate safari trip - but was wearing a bag over her head and was believed to be a decoy.

The last time the 25-year-old singer was pictured was when she and Brand arrived at the airport in India, and the I Kissed A Girl singer was sporting a traditional Indian bridal nose ring.

Comedian Baddiel has certainly been taking in as many of the local sights as possible since arriving in India earlier this week.

Earlier yesterday Baddiel, who accompanied Brand on his stag do to strip club Stringfellows, was seen riding a camel with his daughter at the Hotel Aman e Khas in Ranthambhore, Rajasthan, as Katy's parents Keith and Mary Hudson watched and occasionally took pictures.

The group were enjoying some peace and quiet ahead of this weekend's celebration, which will undoubtedly be one of the most glamorous and talked-about affairs since Victoria Adams married David Beckham.

Taking in the scenery: Brand seen earlier on the safari trip with his guests

Bag lady: A woman believed to be Perry seen here on a separate safari trip, covering her head with a bag, but it was believed to be a decoy

The wedding, which is thought to be costing in the region of £300,000, starts today with a Hindu wedding ceremony conducted by a local priest at the Sher Bagh resort, a luxury resort outside the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

According to local tour operator Rajasthan Tours' manager Mohan Singh, whose company is one of several involved in organising the event, the nuptials are likely to be an eventful and 'colourful' affair.

Singh said: 'This would be a colourful Rajasthan wedding, and both Brand and Perry would be attired in Indian wedding attires.'

Practising: Russell Brand strode purposefully to the safari yesterday morning, perhaps practising his walk down the aisle ahead of his wedding to Katy today

Traditional: Brand stepped out with an Indian henna tattoo on his hand - normally worn by the bride

The couple, who flew into India earlier this week, have hired 13 vehicles to take some of their 80 or so guests on tours of the wildlife sanctuary in the days after the wedding, Singh explained.

And the celebrations kicked off in earnet as Brand and Katy treated guests to a sumptuous Bollywood-style feast as they arrived, which featured snake charmers and traditional dancers.

The Ranthambore National Park, one of northern India's largest sanctuaries, is best known for it large tiger population, but is also home to leopards, wild boars, hyenas and sloths.

The sanctuary, about 80miles south-east of the city of Jaipur, also includes several lakes and a 10th-century fort.

Brand and Perry will be staying in a luxury tent at the Aman-i-Khas resort, just outside the sanctuary, with guests staying at the nearby Vanyavilas and Sher Bagh resorts, Singh said.

Private security has already been stationed at the hotels, which have refused to discuss the event with media.

However, while the couple are hoping to impress guests with their wedding, the strict Indian laws rule out fireworks, because of the proximity to the nature reserve, and also forbid music to be played after 10pm.

Sawaimadhopur district police chief Vishnu Kan, who said the local police have not been informed about the celebrations, said: 'We have no clue about the wedding.

Sights: The locals are clearly thrilled to be welcoming Brand and Katy for their wedding

'But we would not allow playing of musical instruments and blaring loudspeakers after 10 in the night.

'We are bound by the Indian laws.'

Hoping to keep the event details secret, the couple had sent out wedding invitations saying simply that they were getting married in India and the celebrations would last for up to a week.

Katy Perry's Twitter page also contains a plea for privacy.

Getting ready: Katy Perry's parents Keith and Mary Hudson are in India ahead of their daughter's wedding to Russell Brand

Enjoying the local sights: Guest, comedian David Baddiel, enjoys a camel ride with his daughter

The singer wrote: 'TWIT BREAK: Greatest gift you can give us is respect and love during this private time.

'No use wasting our time with STOLEN or FALSE info. Thank you for this.'
The couple have given the exclusive coverage rights to a London magazine, and no other photographers or journalists will be allowed into the resort.

Guests, who also began arriving in India on Wednesday, are expected to include Barbadian pop singer Rihanna, who is Katy's maid of honour, and Little Britain star David Walliams.

In preparation: Brand's waxwork at Madame Tussauds has been decked out in traditional Indian wedding gear

Also likely to attend is presenter Jonathan Ross, whom Brand joined in the infamous prank phone call to actor Andrew Sachs to boast that he had slept with the actor's granddaughter.

Ross' representative Gary Farrow said Ross would 'probably' be going, but could not discuss it further as it was a private affair.

Meanwhile, back in the UK, Brand's waxwork at London's Madame Tussauds has been decked out in traditional Indian wedding gear to mark the occasion.

Staff decorated his brow with a vermilion tilak, a traditional north Indian wedding mark and his tight grey suit was given a vivid makeover with wedding garlands.

X Factor 2010: Cher Lloyd becomes victim of malicious YouTube hate campaign

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppltzn5bYQAendofvid

By LIZ THOMAS

In the spotlight: X Factor contestant Cheryl Lloyd features in a five minute YouTube video which accuses her of being a bully and make lewd allegations

The X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd is the victim of a bullying internet hate campaign featuring a YouTube video branding her a liar and a cheat.

The five minute clip has had almost one million hits and features footage, which also accuses her of being a bully and for heavily partying in the early stages of the show instead of concentrating on her performance.

Thousands have commented on the video, which claims to highlight discrepancies between what the 17-year-old has said about writing her own lyrics for some of her early performances and the reality.

Some have defended the teenager and branded the anonymously posted video and campaign – which is also linked to a Facebook group with more than 3000 members – as malicious and bitter.

Others insisted the campaign suggested that her success on the show had been unfair and the hype around her unwarranted.

It also makes lewd allegations about her personal life.

Strike a pose: Cher is a ringer for her mentor Cheryl, seen here with heavy eye make-up and a hooded top for a photoshoot

Inspiration: The X Factor contestant, wearing jewellery by Me & Zena, looks edgy in the shoot, with Cheryl seen right in a similar type of outfit on stage back in May

Miss Cole and Simon Cowell have both hailed the young singer as a breath of fresh air and bringing originality to the show.

It is the second time someone from this year’s series has been at the centre of an internet bullying campaign.

Earlier this month Katie Waissel threatened to quit the show following a ‘bullying campaign’ against her.

Brave face: Cher pictured with fellow contestant Mary Byrne arriving for rehearsals at Fountain Studios in north-west London

Rehearsal time: Katie Waissel has also been the subject of a hate campaign. Right, Rebecca Ferguson

The 24-year-old suffered an emotional meltdown in the X Factor house after a public backlash against her.

She was the subject of an internet campaign to stop viewers voting for her after fans argued that her mentor Miss Cole should not have picked her as one of her acts for the live finals.

She had failed to complete two of her three songs during the audition process yet was still put through ahead of viewers’ favourite Gamu Nhengu, who is now facing the threat of deportation to her native Zimbabwe.

All together: Girl band Belle Amie's, from left Sophia Wardman, Esther Campbell, Geneva Lane and Rebecca Creighton

Tension in the ranks: Breathtakingly confident Wardman, left, says she doesn't want to just be known as 'the pretty one'

The ease at which it is able to whip up a campaign through social networking and video sharing sites such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube highlights the dangers of cyber bullying.

Statistics show as many as one in five children have been at the receiving end of abuse via the internet or a mobile phone.

This year's Anti-Bullying Alliance survey revealed that 18 per cent of ten and 11-year-olds had been cyber-bullied while in their own home.

Manufactured pop: Boyband One Direction, pictured at rehearsals today, were put together by Simon Cowell

There has also been a rise in suicides by teenage victims of cyber-bullying, youngsters so distraught by their torment they are driven to take their own lives.

The rise of hate campaigns for those taking part in The X Factor also raises questions about how well equipped aspiring contestants are to handle these things when they are thrust into the public eye.

The series has employed a psychologist to monitor the well-being of contestants during and after the show.

Dannii's boys: Matt Cardle arrived with his guitar in hand while Aiden Grimshaw was all wrapped up against the cold

Miss Lloyd already appears nervous and frail, and her tiny frame has raised concerns about her eating habits.

The student from Malvern last week insisted: ‘I am eating. There is no problem. Of course I am eating I wouldn’t be able to perform if I wasn’t.’

This week’s theme for The X Factor is Guilty Pleasures in which the remaining 12 contestants will sing two songs each, as well as a group performance.

Insiders said the show had been hit by week – producers were forced to call in pest control after the finalists discovered their was a maggot infestation in their house.

It is understood that there has been in-fighting among some of the key production team of the show, with disputes over song choices, costumes and singing style.

Ahoy there! Sexy sailor Paris Hilton goes Halloween costume shopping in lingerie store

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQT-sEbMZikendofvid

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Sailor girl: Paris Hilton isn't shy as she tries on a raunchy sailor outfit in lingerie story Trashy in LA

Halloween is used to be about dressing up as scary ghosts and witches.

But Paris Hilton looked anything but frightening as she shopped for her costume yesterday.

The heiress was spotted at Trashy lingerie in Los Angeles trying on a sexy sailor costume.

The 29-year-old wasn't shy about parading around the store in the corset and hotpants ensemble.

The store, a favourite of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and a range of celebrities, specialises in custom-made costumes and lingerie which can cost upwards of $350.

Hilton earlier tried on some cat masks with sister Nicky, uploading a picture to Twitter.

She asked her 2.9 million followers on the social networking site for their thoughts on costumes, tweeting 'What's everyone going to be for Halloween?'

Shopping buddy: Paris brought her puppy along for the shopping trip

Trick or treat: The heiress tried on a few costumes but seemed to settle on the sailor outfit in the boutique

Hinting that she and boyfriend Cy Waits may be coordinating their outfits, she added: 'What do you guys think are good ideas for couples costumes?'

The 34-year-old Las Vegas nightclub mogul joined his girlfriend later in the afternoon in West Hollywood.

The couple were very affectionate as they waited for their refreshments at Lemonade. Waits wrapped his arms around Paris and nuzzled her neck before she spoon fed him some of her icy treat.

'Meow': Paris tried on cat masks with sister Nicky

Despite her risqué choice in Halloween costume, Hilton appears to be trying to repair the public perception of her after a summer of hard partying in Europe and South Africa and arrests.

This week she made her second trip to the Union Rescue Mission Shelter for in downtown Los Angeles.

Paris, accompanied by sister Nicky, 27, and two friends, served Shepherds Pie they had cooked themselves to homeless people and spent time with children at the shelter.

Love is in the air: The 29-year-old was joined by boyfriend Cy Waits later in West Hollywood

Sweet treat: Paris, wearing an unusual smiley face top, stopped by a lemonade store with her Vegas nightclub mogul boyfriend

Not one to let her good deed go unnoticed, she posted a picture of her serving up dinner to Twitter and added: 'Spent all day with the kids downtown at The Rescue Mission Shelter. Went with @NickyHilton, @CamRaFace and @WhitneyNicole2.

'We cooked food for them and brought them tons of candy.. We carved pumpkins and made fun art projects.

'All the kids had such a great time. It made me so happy to see them so happy! Love them.'

Affectionate: The couple, who were arrested together for cocaine possession in August, were touchy-feely as they waited for their beverages

It was her second visit to the shelter, after arriving last week with Waits and a car full of pumpkins and treats for the children.

The Union Rescue Mission which Paris visited is a shelter for homeless families living on the streets of Los Angeles.

It is the largest shelter in LA and one of the largest in the United States.

They provide food, shelter, clothing, medical and dental care, recovery programs, transitional housing, legal assistance, education, counselling, and job training to needy men, women, children, and families.

Do-gooders: Paris uploaded a photo of the sisters served food at The Union Rescue Mission Shelter in LA the day before to Twitter

Paris wrote to shelter volunteer Alex over Twitter after her latest visit, promising to be back next week.

She has been ordered to perform 200 hours of community service after being charged with narcotics possession during her August Las Vegas arrest with Waits.

Cy was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence and when Paris, a passenger in the car at the time, was searched, police found just under a gram of cocaine in her possession.

She was then also arrested for possession of narcotics and subsequently given one year of probation and a $2000 fine in addition to the community service.

Right royal turn-out on the red carpet for the London Film Festival premiere of new Oscar-tipped movie The King's Speech

By JODY THOMPSON

Royal welcome: Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter and Colin Firth arrive for the London Film Festival premiere of The King's Speech at the Odeon Leicester Square with Helena radiant in Vivienne Westwood

It's already being tipped for Oscars glory - so it was hardly surprising that a star-studded crowd was out in force tonight for the London premiere of new movie The King's Speech.

Starring Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, Guy Pearce and Geoffrey Rush to name but a few, it tells the story of how King George VI ascended to the throne despite his terrible stutter after his brother Edward VIII abdicated to marry Wallis Simpson.

Often-eccentric Ms Bonham Carter - famed for her often offbeat approach to fashion - looked stunning in Vivienne Westwood tartan-bodiced dress with a black silk full skirt.

The royal three: Geoffrey, Helena and Colin crack up as they pose for the camera

Film buffs: Will Young, left, was at the premiere, as was Sir Ben Kingsley and his wife Daniela Lavender

It's the second night in a row that Helena's worn Westwood - yesterday, she wore an Anglomania skirt-suit for a press conference launching the film at the London Film Festival.

Despite her unflattering lipstick yesterday that observers remarked made her teeth look a bit yellow, as her bag declared, tonight the actress was very much a 'glamour girl'.

Firth meanwhile plays the nervous royal - known as Bertie - who reluctantly took the role despite a severe speech impediment.

Hollywood stars: Claire Danes, wearing a retro print black and red dress, and fiance Hugh Dancy at the Leicester Square gala screening

Red carpet: Colin and his wife Livia and Helena's husband, director Tim Burton

Check her out: Ms Bonham Carter wearing Vivienne Westwood again yesterday

Coaxed along by his wife Queen Elizabeth - played by Bonham Carter - he is also trained to overcome his stammer by an Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue, played by Pirates Of The Caribbean star Rush.

He then becomes a voice of comfort to his subjects on the radio as Britain is plunged into the Second World War.

Directed by The Damned United's Tom Cooper, it also features Timothy Spall as Winston Churchill, and Jennifer Ehle - who Colin previously starred alongside in his famous TV adaptation of Pride And Prejudice - as Logue's wife Myrtle.
It also features Guy Pearce as Edward VIII, Michael Gambon as King George V, and Derek Jacobi as Dr Cosmo Lang.

Until earlier this week, the film was set to be saddled with a 15 certificate, a decision based on a scene where Bertie shouts out swear words to try and thwart his stutter.

However, Cooper and his cast led such a protest that the BBFC backed down and hours before the BFI London Film Festival screening, gave the film a 12A rating.
Firth is already named as a favourite to win Best Actor at next year's Oscars, just three years after Helen Mirren landed the Best Actress gong for her role as the late king's daughter in The Queen.

Intriguingly, the film's screenwriter David Seidler says he began working on the idea in the 1980s and wrote to the Queen Mother about it.

However, he claims that she wrote back asking him not to make the film in her lifetime, as the memories were still 'too painful'.
The film opens across the UK on 7 January.

Katie Waissel back in good health after fainting during shopping spree

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR-Z87S8qksendofvid

[starttext]

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Dazed: Katie Waissel slumped on the floor at Topshop on Wednesday

She has been described as the most disliked X Factor contestant of all time.

And it seems the constant criticism has finally taken its toll on Katie Waissel.

The petite blonde, 24, fainted during a shopping spree in London.

Cheery: Katie looked happy and in a cheerful mood as she arrived for rehearsals at Wembley's Fountain Studios yesterday

The show’s finalists had been given the run of the flagship TopShop store in Oxford Circus, owned by Simon Cowell’s close friend and business partner, Sir Philip Green.
But Miss Waissel stunned her competitors as she collapsed against a wall in the shop on Wednesday night.

A show source said: ‘Katie has no idea what happened. She was feeling fine and all of a sudden she just slumped to the ground.

‘She can’t remember what happened at all. It was all a bit of a drama – she didn’t see a doctor, but thinks that her blood sugar may have been on the low side.
‘The producers think she should see a doctor just to make sure everything’s okay.’

Shopping spree: Katie Waissel appeared healthy as she left Topshop following an apparent 'collapse' in the store

The scene: Katie was shopping in the Oxford Street branch when the incident occurred

Miss Waissel was left distraught this week after she was accused of manufacturing rumours that she had been caught in bed with fellow contestant Matt Cardle.

A source close to the singer said that her parents, Diana and Maurice, called the show’s bosses following her collapse and told them: ‘We’re worried this show is turning our daughter into a monster.’

The source added: ‘They are just being strong for Katie as this is her dream, but when you have your daughter on the other end of the phone crying, it’s extremely hard.’
An X Factor spokesperson said: 'Katie felt unwell and there were trained first aiders on hand to look after her. She is feeling fine today.'
But, whatever the reason, it seems the collapse wasn't too serious, as the 24-year-old singer was later seen leaving Topshop laden with shopping bags thought to contain freebies from the clothing store.

Trendy? Cher Lloyd wore another unique outfit as she arrived at rehearsals

Hopefuls: Rebecca Ferguson and Treyc Cohen also looked wintry and chic as they arrived yesterday

It's not the first time Katie has struggled to cope during her time on the X Factor.
The singer, who was put through to this weekend's shows after her performance of Etta James's I Would Rather Go Blind, returned home for some support from her mother after a particularly bad week earlier this month.

Talking about her daughter returning home, Katie's mother Diana explained to Heat magazine this week: 'Katie hadn’t been very well, she had a really bad sore throat and was feeling under the weather.

Supporting their acts: Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue arrive at Fountain Studios for rehearsals on Thursday

'She went to the doctor, who put her on a course of antibiotics and gave her the afternoon off, so she thought she’d surprise me and come home for dinner. It was good to catch up.

'We watched the show together on TV, looked back at it all and chatted, had supper together, and then she went back. There was absolutely no special treatment.'

Katie also seemed healthy and happy as she arrived for rehearsals at Wembley's Fountain Studios today, but was wrapped up warm in a hat, scarf and heavy hooded coat.

Louis's acts: John Adeleye and Mary Byrne arriving at Fountain Studios

She was recently accused of fabricating a sex scandal in an attempt to stay on the show.

Some contestants are also said to think she was behind a story suggesting she enjoyed a fling with Matt Cardle, who is currently favourite to win the competition.
Both have now agreed their evening had been less romantic than suggested.

Despite Miss Waissel denying she was behind the story, her fellow contestants are said to have frozen her out, refusing to speak to her and even calling her ‘Katie Weasel’.
